Good fruits, productive years, precious shoots and different soils.
Sambuca di Sicilia
In the countryside of the most beautiful village in Italy 2016, between 300 and 400 meters above sea level, there is a property of 40 hectares in total. Of which 25 hectares of vineyards, 10 hectares of olive groves and 5 hectares of cereals.
The vineyards, after careful studies, were selected from different international and native varieties. This has favored their adaptation to the microclimate of the territory and the conditions of the soil: the more calcareous soils for the red wines and the more clayey ones for the white wines.
All the lands are cultivated organically.
The white varieties include: Chardonnay, Grillo, Moscato, Catarratto and Sauvignon Blanc.
The red varieties include: Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Grigio, Nero D’Avola and Nerello Mascalese.
The olive groves, on the other hand, are 70% Nocellara del Belice and the remaining 30% Biancolilla and Cerasuola.
Etna
In the volcanic territories of Randazzo, Biancavilla and Santa Venerina between 550 and 750 meters above sea level, there is a property, on several vineyards, of about 3 hectares where we produce our Cru “TRE VERSANTI”.
The volcanic soil and the presence of ash, following the numerous lava flows, nourish the land with organic and mineral substances that give character to the wines.
The varieties grown are typical of the territories of Etna.
The whites: Catarratto and Carricante.
The reds: Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio.
